【1/N  landless】: Far too many books in bookstores sell the illusion of order. One cannot presuppose a stable foundation to sustain metaphysical claims or principles; there are only fleeting, contingent moments of touching the ground.

Lacking a stable foundation for metaphysical claims, we encounter only brief and imperfect attempts to touch the ground. While a new bookstore signals a new order, it sells not new wisdom, but a manufactured hierarchy of things.

Artistic Commentary:
Juxtaposing still life with the human figure, these works dismantle the carefully constructed certainties of classical representation. Still life ceases to be a tame display; the body sheds its role as an objectified subject. In their place, expressive, overlapping brushstrokes reveal a restless, evolving pulse of life. This is a visceral refusal of “packaged order”—a choice to turn away from false security and honor the spontaneous, immediate, and poignant fragments of a rootless existence.
